The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through its financing arm, Small Business Corporation (SBCorp), has rolled out the Youth Enterprise Fund (YEF) to empower young business owners across the country.
Designed specifically for Filipino youth entrepreneurs aged 18 to 30 years old, the YEF offers financial assistance ranging from ₱30,000 to ₱500,000 to support and expand their enterprise initiatives. Loans under the program are payable monthly over a maximum period of three years, with flexible grace period options of 0, 3, 6, 9 or 12 months.
“Under the leadership of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., this administration is fully committed to empowering the youth as key partners in nation-building. Our young entrepreneurs are the driving force of Bagong Pilipinas—full of innovation, energy and bold ideas,” said DTI Secretary Cristina A. Roque.
“Through the Youth Enterprise Fund, we are removing financial barriers so our youth can turn their vision into thriving businesses that not only succeed, but also generate quality jobs and uplift their local communities. I encourage all aspiring young business owners to avail of this loan, and help us build a stronger, more inclusive Philippine economy,” Roque added.
Applicants are required to submit the following documentary requirements:
- A valid government-issued ID;
- Mayor’s Business Permit;
- Proof of bank account;
- Corporate documents (if applicable); and
- A Business Plan detailing the implementation plan of the project.
Interested borrowers may apply online starting Monday, July 27, 2026, by downloading the official SBCorp app, available on Google Play and Huawei AppGallery.
