The national government is stepping up its commitment to bridge the country’s housing gap and provide safe, decent, and affordable homes for Filipino families through the Expanded National Housing Program for Filipinos (4PH).
As part of these ongoing efforts, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. recently conducted an on-site inspection of People’s Ville, a flagship housing project located in Calinan District, Davao City. Spanning more than 14 hectares, People’s Ville stands as one of the largest socialized housing initiatives in the region.
During the visit, President Marcos personally inspected model units, reviewed ongoing construction, and visited occupied units to interact with residents who have already moved in.
Once fully completed, the multi-hectare development will feature 72 building structures housing a total of 7,200 residential units, benefiting thousands of low-income and displaced families. Development is already well underway:

Completed: 26 buildings comprising 2,600 individual housing units.

Occupied: More than 400 families have already moved into their new homes.

Community Amenities: The integrated township design includes open green parks, an outdoor gym, a multi-purpose hall, and essential community services to support resident well-being and social connection.
“The PBBM administration remains steadfast in its mission to ensure every Filipino family has access to a safe, secure, and dignified space to live,” the President noted during the inspection.
Through the Expanded 4PH Program, the government continues to aggressively address the national housing backlog, relocate vulnerable families away from high-risk hazard zones, and lay down a stable foundation for long-term socio-economic growth across the country.
