The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) informs the travelling public that landing and take-off operations at Butuan Airport (BXU) were temporarily suspended today, Sunday, August 9, 2026, following an incident involving a disabled aircraft on the runway.
Ground personnel and response teams were deployed immediately to clear the runway safely and restore normal airport operations as quickly as possible.
