F2 Logistics handles Comelec nationwide election material deployment

As the 2025 Philippine elections approach, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) has appointed F2 Logistics Philippines, Inc. to oversee the nationwide deployment of critical election materials, according to Logisticsbid.

F2 Logistics has long-standing expertise in logistics and  established track record in supporting electoral processes in the country.

F2 Logistics has been tasked with transporting a wide range of essential election-related items, including ballots, vote-counting machines, and other vital supplies. The company’s logistics plan is designed to guarantee the safe, secure, and timely delivery of these materials to all regions across the country.

Efficient Regional Distribution Plan

The deployment strategy is organized into four primary lots, each responsible for specific regions of the Philippines:

  • Lot 1: Cordillera Administrative Region, Regions I, II, and III
  • Lot 2: Regions IV-A, IV-B, V, and the National Capital Region
  • Lot 3: Regions VI, VII, and VIII
  • Lot 4: Regions IX, X, XI, XII, Caraga, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao

This structured approach ensures efficient distribution from bustling urban centers to the most remote areas of the country.

A Collaborative Approach to Distribution

A key element of the deployment strategy is the partnership between F2 Logistics and local Comelec officers.

Under the contract, F2 Logistics is responsible for transporting materials to municipal hubs, while the delivery to individual polling precincts will be managed by local Comelec staff. This collaborative model combines the logistical expertise of F2 Logistics with the on-the-ground knowledge of local Comelec personnel, ensuring the timely and secure delivery of election materials.

Commitment to Security and Timeliness

With maintaining the integrity of election materials is of utmost importance, F2 Logistics is committed to adhering to stringent security protocols throughout the transportation process.

These protocols include real-time tracking to monitor the movement of election-related cargo, ensuring transparency and security; sealed containers transported in tamper proof containers; escort and law enforcement coordination for deliveries in high-risk areas, police or military escorts will accompany shipments to ensure safety; and chain of custody protocols for detailed documentation and strict handover procedures will be followed at each stage of the transportation process.

These precautions are designed to ensure that materials reach their destination in pristine condition and to safeguard the election from potential fraud.

F2 Logistics previously managed logistics for the 2018 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections and the 2019 and 2022 national elections.
