Panasonic Manufacturing Philippines Corp. (PMPC), manufacturer of consumer durable goods, is constructing a new factory building in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
PMPC informed the Philippine Stock Exchange of the execution and signing of the contract with Kujima Philippines Inc. for the construction of the new building, which will commence in October this year and is expected to be finished in two years time.
The construction will not negatively impact on the company’s existing business and operations, it said.
On Dec. 13, 2023, PMPC’s building at the Laguna Technopark was gutted.
PMPC, a subsidiary of the Panasonic Group, produces a wide range of products including refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, and electric fans. They also import, distribute, and sell various electronic, electrical, and mechanical appliances under the Panasonic brand.
