FIATA and TT Club name Lingjiao Li global winner of prestigious 2025 Young Logistics Professionals Award

FIATA International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations, in partnership with TT Club, is delighted to announce Lingjiao Li of China as the Global Winner of the 2025 Young Logistics Professionals (YLP) Award. The winner was unveiled during the FIATA World Congress in Hanoi, Vietnam, celebrating the best and brightest of the new generation in the freight forwarding industry.

Lingjiao Li, representing the Asia-Pacific Region and nominated by the China International Freight Forwarders (CIFA), was awarded the top honour for her exceptional dissertation: “Multimodal Transport Challenges and Considerations for Oversized Cargo.”

Her winning entry clearly analysed two complex, real-world case studies: the export shipment of overweight and oversized power plant equipment from China to Bosnia Herzegovina, and the import of fresh salmon from Chile to China. The jury praised Li’s innovative approach and strong professional insight that set her apart from an outstanding group of regional finalists from across the globe.

The YLP Award, now in its 27th year, continues to recognise the ingenuity, dedication, and talent critical for the sector’s future.

Turgut Erkeskin, FIATA President, warmly congratulated the winner: “This competition demonstrates the creativity, problem-solving skills, and passion of young professionals like Lingjiao Li, who will lead the logistics industry into an innovative and connected future.”

Mike Yarwood, Managing Director for Loss Prevention at TT Club, reiterated the importance of the partnership: “We are once again proud to support the FIATA Young Logistics Professionals Award. Investing in the next generation is essential not only for the sustainability of our sector, but also for driving the evolution of supply chain solutions worldwide.”

Hosting this year’s prestigious ceremony in Hanoi, Vietnam, offered a unique opportunity to highlight the nation’s rapidly growing role as a strategic logistics hub in Asia. The dynamic context of the FIATA World Congress provided an inspiring international stage to showcase the vision of the young finalists before a global audience of industry leaders.

The YLP Award highlights FIATA’s and TT Club’s shared and unwavering commitment to nurturing the skills and vision of young professionals, ensuring that the logistics and freight forwarding sector remains resilient, adaptive, and ready for the future.
