inDrive wraps up 2025 with the Philippines as one of its most dynamic growth market

Global ride-hailing platform, inDrive, marked a milestone year in the Philippines, recording significant growth and expanded reach. Now in its second year of operating in the country, the Philippines emerged as one of inDrive’s most dynamic growth markets in Southeast Asia.

inDrive Philippines increased its contribution to inDrive’s regional business by 13 percentage points this year compared to 2024, driven by its continued expansion to new cities, an increasing partner active driver base, and initiatives designed to enhance passenger safety and driver empowerment. This year underscores inDrive’s commitment to making mobility fair, safer, and accessible to Filipinos across the country.

“2025 was a defining year for inDrive in the Philippines,” said Sofia Guinto, inDrive Philippines Business Development Head.  “As we grow our footprint in the country, our focus remains on understanding what matters most to both our partner drivers and passengers, that is fairness, safety, and better opportunities. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made in the Philippines this year, and it motivates us more to create better mobility solutions for Filipinos.”

Accelerating Local Growth through Technology and a People-Driven Approach

In 2025, inDrive recorded an 8x growth in rides and 7x more passengers compared to its 2024 performance. The company expanded to 7 cities nationwide and activated 16,000 partner drivers (as of October 2025), resulting in more accessible rides across key urban and provincial areas.

Safety remains inDrive’s core focus in 2025. To ensure the welfare of both its passengers and partner drivers, inDrive introduced new features in the app dedicated to safety, including an emergency button that connects directly with law enforcement, 24/7 in-app and email support, and a Safety and Incident Management Team that monitors and investigates all safety-related reports.

This year, inDrive won the Philippines Technology Excellence Award for AI in Transportation at the Asian Technology Awards. Through its innovations, inDrive utilizes AI to power its app, using machine vision to verify vehicle safety and condition, support queries, and assist its drivers, among others.

inDrive is currently refining its driver onboarding process by collaborating with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Philippine National Police Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) to develop training modules on proper passenger handling, road safety, and other key competencies.

Partnerships that Moved Communities

inDrive has also inked partnerships with key stakeholders to create a more rewarding experience for both drivers and passengers. Its partnership with the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) enabled passengers easier mobility from one of the city’s busiest transport hubs. Recently, inDrive also served about 3,000 rides during the Undas exodus.

The app also teamed up with electric vehicle dealer Device Design Green And Smart (DDGNS) Corporation and fleet partner Transrev Documentation and Transport Services to launch the country’s first regional EV fleet in Baguio City. This provides more eco-friendly transport options for passengers, whether they are commuting to work or school or exploring the city for the first time.

Beyond mobility, inDrive is currently collaborating with the Department of Health to amplify the call for 100% Smoke- and Vape-free Rides, promoting not just safer but healthier roads for Filipinos.

Driving Fairness, Safety, and Opportunity

As inDrive closes 2025, the company reaffirms its mission to make mobility fairer, safer, and more inclusive for Filipinos. Each innovation, partnership, and driver-focused initiative is aimed at empowering communities and improving everyday travel.
