OceanJet, a leading fast-craft ferry operator in the Philippines, today announced a significant expansion of its trip schedules connecting key destinations in the Visayas region. The new, additional voyages—including a full afternoon loop linking Cebu, Tagbilaran, Siquijor, and Dumaguete—will officially commence on Friday, November 28, 2025.
The expanded schedule is designed to offer travelers greater flexibility, convenience, and direct access to the beautiful islands of Siquijor and Bohol (Tagbilaran), bolstering tourism and commerce within the region.
“We are thrilled to introduce these additional trips just in time for the peak holiday travel season,” said the representative of OceanJet. “Our commitment is to provide fast, reliable, and convenient sea travel. By adding these afternoon and early morning schedules, we are making it easier for both tourists and locals to travel between these vital ports, whether they are island-hopping, conducting business, or visiting family.”
The new service introduces a comprehensive afternoon route, facilitating easy one-day travel between the central and southern Visayas islands:
| Route | Departure Time |
| Cebu – Tagbilaran (Bohol) | 12:20 PM |
| Tagbilaran – Siquijor | 2:40 PM |
| Siquijor – Dumaguete | 4:40 PM |
| Dumaguete – Siquijor | 5:20 PM |
In a further enhancement to the regular schedule, OceanJet will now serve an earlier morning trip for commuters:
| Route | Departure Time |
| Siquijor – Dumaguete | 5:00 AM |
This will serve as the new first trip of the regular voyage, offering a crucial early start for travelers heading to Negros Oriental.
OceanJet encourages all travelers to plan their journeys and book tickets early to secure their slots on the new routes.
