MARINA earns spot in GPPB positive list for procurement compliance

The Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) has earned a spot in the Government Procurement Policy Board–Technical Support Office (GPPB–TSO) Positive List after successfully complying with all submission requirements for the Fiscal Year 2025 Second Semester Procurement Monitoring Reports (PMRs).

The inclusion affirms MARINA’s full and timely compliance with prescribed reporting standards, following the review and validation conducted by the GPPB-TSO’s Performance Monitoring Division B. The agency’s performance secured its recognition as one of the compliant procuring entities nationwide.

As a result, MARINA will be officially listed among the FY 2025 PMR-Compliant Procuring Entities in the GPPB-TSO’s published Positive List—an acknowledgment of agencies that consistently meet procurement transparency and reporting requirements.

The recognition underscores MARINA’s sustained commitment to integrity in public fund management, ensuring that all procurement activities are properly documented, monitored, and aligned with national governance standards.

According to the GPPB-TSO, MARINA’s compliance contributes to stronger oversight of government procurement systems and reinforces efforts to promote efficiency, accountability, and good governance across agencies.

The recognition forms part of MARINA’s broader push to institutionalize good governance practices across its operations.
