LANDBANK, PCCI forge partnership to boost MSME financing and enterprise development

The Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) have formalized a strategic partnership aimed at expanding access to financing and strengthening enterprise development support for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the country.

The partnership was sealed through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 11 June 2026 at the Commerce and Industry Plaza in Taguig City. The collaboration will advance the implementation of LANDBANK’s LIFTING MSMEs Lending Program, designed to empower Filipino entrepreneurs by providing greater access to financial resources and business development opportunities.

Leading the signing ceremony were LANDBANK President and Chief Executive Officer Lynette V. Ortiz and PCCI President Ferdinand A. Ferrer. Serving as witnesses were LANDBANK Executive Vice President Charlotte I. Conde and PCCI Vice President for MSMEs Melanie Ng. Also present at the event were LANDBANK Executive Vice President Marilou L. Villafranca, First Vice President May D. Arizabal, and Assistant Vice President Ronaldo R. Averion.

Under the partnership, LANDBANK and PCCI will work closely to promote financial inclusion among MSMEs, accelerate their digital transformation, encourage sustainable business practices, and enhance their capabilities through various capacity-building initiatives.

The collaboration underscores both institutions’ shared commitment to fostering a more resilient and competitive MSME sector, recognizing its vital role in job generation, innovation, and economic development.

By leveraging their respective expertise and networks, LANDBANK and PCCI aim to help more Filipino entrepreneurs access the tools, financing, and support they need to grow their businesses, create employment opportunities, and contribute to inclusive economic growth nationwide.
