The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) has achieved a significant milestone in public service integrity, earning official recognition from the Government Procurement Policy Board – Technical Support Office (GPPB-TSO) for its strict compliance with procurement reporting standards for Fiscal Year 2025.
Following a rigorous review and validation process by the GPPB-TSO’s Performance Monitoring Division B, the PPA was confirmed to have successfully met all prescribed submission requirements for its FY 2025 Procurement Monitoring Reports (PMRs).
As a result of this flawless compliance, the PPA has been officially secured a spot on the prestigious Positive List of FY 2025 PMR-Compliant Procuring Entities, which will be published by the GPPB-TSO.
This milestone underscores the PPA’s unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance. By adhering strictly to national procurement policies, the agency ensures that public resources are utilized efficiently, responsibly, and with absolute integrity to support nationwide public service delivery.
PPA General Manager Jay Santiago highly commended the collaborative effort behind this achievement, praising the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), the BAC Secretariat, end-user units, and all personnel involved in the procurement lifecycle.
“This recognition affirms our collective commitment to uphold the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and compliance in government procurement. It is a testament to the hard work of our procurement personnel and operating units across the PPA organization,” said Jay Santiago, PPA General Manager.
Moving forward, the PPA remains steadfast in its mission to continually strengthen its procurement systems and operational processes. This achievement reinforces the agency’s broader institutional efforts to enhance operational efficiency, uphold public trust, and elevate the delivery of port services across the nation.
