BOC yields PHP3.6 M expected revenue from negotiated sale

In line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to ensure the efficient disposition of government assets and maximize revenue generation, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) successfully conducted a Negotiated Sale on July 1, 2026, with accepted offers totaling over ₱3 million, subject to the final approval of the Department of Finance (DOF).

 

The accepted offers amounted to ₱3,642,101 from Fast Car Traders Corp., and Bengel Consumer Goods Trading for various idle assets, including a 40-foot container of assorted household items (₱280,000), a 20-foot container of wooden furniture (₱62,000), a 40-foot container of assorted commodities and household items (₱53,000), a solar panel set (₱37,100), coffee machines, water softeners, and other loose items (₱450,001).

 

The highlight of the negotiated sale was the accepted offer of ₱2,760,000 from Fast Car Traders Corp. for a 2023 Maserati Grecale Hybrid, accounting for the largest single transaction during the event.

 

The negotiated sale forms part of the Bureau’s continuing efforts, under the leadership of Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno, to efficiently dispose of idle assets, optimize government resources, and generate additional revenue for the national government.

 

All accepted offers remain subject to the final approval of the Department of Finance. Proceeds from the negotiated sale shall be remitted in accordance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations to support government programs and the delivery of public services.
