BOC recognized by BIR for enduring partnership in advancing revenue programs

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) was recognized by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) for its enduring partnership and valuable support to the agency’s programs and initiatives during the BIR’s 122nd Anniversary Celebration, “Husay at Dangal ng Lingkod-Bayan ng BIR,” on July 31, 2026.

Assistant Commissioner Atty. Vincent Philip C. Maronilla received the recognition on behalf of the agency, reaffirming the BOC’s commitment to fostering stronger inter-agency cooperation in advancing the government’s revenue generation and public service objectives. The BIR honored the BOC as one of its valued BIR KAAGAPAY, recognizing the agency’s significant contributions to promoting service excellence anchored on integrity, professionalism, and institutional partnership.

Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno welcomed the recognition as a testament to the importance of collaboration among government agencies in delivering meaningful results for the Filipino people.

Guided by Commissioner Nepomuceno’s Integrity, Accountability, and Modernization (IAM) BOC Movement, the Bureau remains committed to strengthening partnerships with fellow government agencies, advancing institutional reforms, and supporting whole-of-government efforts to enhance revenue administration, improve public service delivery, and contribute to the country’s sustainable economic development.
