Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ leading carrier, achieved a significant milestone in 2024 by transporting over 2.5 million passengers to and from Davao International Airport. This marks a remarkable 22% increase—an additional 460,000 passengers—compared to the previous year.
In January alone, Cebu Pacific operated more than 1,600 flights on its Davao routes, a 44% surge from the 1,100 flights recorded in January 2023. The airline’s seat capacity also experienced a substantial 76% growth, reaching 334,000 in January from 190,000 in the same period last year. Additionally, the total number of routes serving Davao expanded to 14 in 2024, further strengthening its connectivity.
This growth underscores Cebu Pacific’s commitment to enhancing accessibility for travelers across Mindanao, making it easier for every Juan to reconnect with loved ones, explore new destinations, and seize opportunities both within the Philippines and internationally.
