PLDT posts P106.3 billion in gross revenues, up 3% in 1H 2025

PLDT Inc. announced its financial and operational results for the first six months of 2025, showcasing strong business resilience and continued growth fueled by its data and broadband segments. The company reported a 3% increase in Gross Service Revenues to ₱106.3 billion.

Data and broadband services were the primary engine of growth, contributing ₱82.2 billion, or 85% of Consolidated Service Revenues. Excluding the impact of legacy services, Consolidated Service Revenues were up 3% year-on-year. This strong performance led to a 3% rise in Consolidated EBITDA, reaching ₱55.5 billion, with the EBITDA margin holding steady at 52%.

A significant factor in the company’s overall performance was the remarkable turnaround of its fintech arm, Maya. The positive contribution from Maya helped overall core income edge up year-on-year to ₱17.6 billion, with Maya’s core income contribution reversing a previous loss to a gain of ₱406 million.

“Our results for the first half of 2025 show the resilience of our business and the strength of our people,” said Manuel V. Pangilinan, PLDT and Smart Chairman and CEO. “We continue to invest in the future — expanding our network, enhancing customer experience, and driving innovation across our businesses. In a challenging environment, we remain committed to delivering value to our customers, shareholders, and the country.”
