The Bureau of Customs (BOC), through the Auction and Cargo Disposal Division of the Manila International Container Port (MICP), will conduct a public auction on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The auction will take place on the 2nd Floor of the Administrative Building at Manila International Container Port.
This event, which will be held via sealed bidding, provides an opportunity for interested parties to bid on various goods. The auction aims to dispose of overstaying and abandoned cargoes in accordance with the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA).
“The public auction is an important part of our process to efficiently manage and clear overstaying shipments,” said a representative from the BOC. “It not only helps in decongesting our ports but also contributes to government revenue, which is vital for national development.”
Specific details regarding the goods to be auctioned, along with the terms and conditions, are available for public viewing. Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the official BOC website to review the complete list of items and understand the bidding process.
