The Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in Qatar announced today the formal recognition of Al Tamayouz Manpower as the first Qatar Recruitment Agency (QRA) to comply with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 03, Series of 2025. This circular mandates a new minimum monthly salary of USD 500.00 (QAR 1,825.00) for all Filipino domestic workers.
In a simple ceremony held at the MWO-Qatar office, Labor Attaché Atty. Eduard C. Ferrer presented a Certificate of Recognition to Al Tamayouz Manpower. The recognition specifically cited the agency for its proactive adjustment of the minimum compensation, which was immediately reflected in its recently approved job order for domestic workers.
Labor Attaché Ferrer commended the agency’s commitment, stating, “MWO Qatar values the agency’s dedication to uplifting the lives of Filipino domestic workers through fair compensation, and we look forward to building an even stronger partnership in promoting decent and dignified employment.”
MC No. 03, Series of 2025, aims to improve the welfare of Filipino domestic workers globally. To incentivize compliance, foreign principals and employers who implement the new standard are granted immediate benefits, including:
- Priority (Greenlane) Processing for accreditation, registration, and re-accreditation.
- Access to the DMW Pool of Skilled Labor for skills matching and recruitment.
- Dedicated Consultation Hours on Employment Standards.
The memorandum circular provides a six-month transitory period for all employers to voluntarily and gradually adjust the salaries of their current Filipino domestic workers before performance audits are conducted to assess overall compliance.
Receiving the certificate on behalf of Al Tamayouz Manpower were its manager and the Filipino Welfare Desk Officer, underscoring the agency’s unified commitment to the new DMW standards.
