Cebu Pacific records 2.1 million passengers in November 2025, achieving 10% year-to-date growth

Cebu Pacific (CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, announced its latest traffic performance report for November 2025, showcasing significant growth in passenger numbers for the year despite challenges.

In November 2025, CEB carried over 2.1 million passengers, marking a 9.1% decrease compared to the same month last year.

The overall seat load factor (SLF) for the month was 81.8%, slightly lower than the 83.2% recorded in November 2024.

Domestic passenger traffic decreased by 11.5% year-on-year, with a domestic SLF of 83.8%.

International passenger traffic saw a smaller decline of 1.8%, with seat capacity increasing by 7.1%, resulting in an international SLF of 76.8%.

Despite these monthly fluctuations, CEB achieved remarkable year-to-date growth.

From January to November 2025, the airline flew nearly 24.2 million passengers, a 10% increase from 22 million passengers during the same period in 2024.

Domestic passenger numbers grew by 8.5% to 18 million, while international passenger traffic surged by 14.9% to 6.2 million.

The average SLF for the year stood at 84%, with overall seat capacity increasing by 10.3% to 28.8 million.

Mike Szucs, Chief Executive Officer of Cebu Pacific, commented on the November performance: “As we entered November, we proactively reduced our flying to preserve maximum capacity for the December and January peak period.

In addition, November was defined by severe weather events, particularly Typhoons Tino and Uwan.

These events, along with the challenges associated with the re-installation of Airbus software at the end of the month, caused further impact to our overall capacity.

We now look forward to returning to double-digit capacity growth over the coming months to align with the strong forward booking outlook.”

Since its inception in March 1996, Cebu Pacific has flown over 270 million passengers, establishing itself as the pioneer of the “low fare, great value” strategy in the aviation industry.

With the widest network coverage in the Philippines, CEB operates flights to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations using one of the youngest fleets in the world, consisting of 99 aircraft.
