TE Connectivity Manufacturing Philippines, Inc. has inaugurated its Plant 2 facility with estimated investments of PHP4 billion, focusing on the manufacture of electronic connectors and interconnection devices.
The facility is an expansion to its existing operation at the First Philippine Industrial Park – Special Economic Zone (FPIP-SEZ), Sto. Tomas, Batangas. The new plant is expected to create 600 jobs on top of the current 500 employees.
With investments worth approximately PhP 4 billion, TE Connectivity’s expansion underscores its confidence in the Philippines as a competitive and strategic production and innovation hub.
The plant will focus on the development, research, and manufacturing of electronic connectors and interconnection devices —critical technologies powering today’s digital infrastructure. The company projects about 600 employment opportunities for Filipinos in addition to its existing workforce of approximately 500 employees, supporting inclusive and high-value job generation in the region.
The Plant 2 facility was inaugurated last January 6, 2028 attended by Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Deputy Director General for Policy and Planning Anidelle Joy M. Alguso. Also joining the ceremony were Department of Trade and Industry Undersecretary and BOI Managing Head.and Vice Chairman Dr. Ceferino S. Rodolfo, and TE Connectivity executives, Chief Executive Officer Terrence Curtin and Senior Vice President and Genel Manager of TE’s Digital Data Networks business unit, Vishwas Rao.
