PAL suspends flights to Dubai and Doha until April 30, 2026

⁣⁣Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced the temporary suspension of its flights between Manila and selected Middle East destinations — Doha (DOH) and Dubai (DXB) — until April 30, 2026.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The temporary suspension affects flights 𝐏𝐑 𝟔𝟓𝟖/𝟔𝟓𝟗 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚-𝐃𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐢-𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚;⁣⁣ 𝐏𝐑 𝟔𝟖𝟒 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚-𝐃𝐨𝐡𝐚⁣⁣; and 𝐏𝐑 𝟔𝟖𝟓 𝐃𝐨𝐡𝐚-𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚⁣⁣. Additional cancellation is also set on May 1, 2026 for PR 685 Doha-Manila flight.
⁣⁣
This precautionary measure is being taken considering the security situation affecting parts of the Middle East and the resulting operational uncertainties in certain regional airspace corridors and airport operations.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The safety of our passengers, crew, and aircraft remains Philippine Airlines’ highest priority. Given the current environment, PAL has determined that temporarily suspending these services is the most prudent course of action while conditions remain fluid.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
PAL continues to closely monitor developments and coordinate with aviation authorities and relevant stakeholders to determine when normal operations can safely resume.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Passengers with affected bookings may avail themselves of the following options:⁣⁣
• Free rebooking once flights resume⁣⁣
• Conversion of tickets into travel credits for future use⁣⁣
• Full refunds, in accordance with applicable policies⁣⁣
PAL’s customer service teams are actively assisting passengers through our website, contact center, and ticket offices.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
“We recognize that many travelers on these routes are Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who rely on these flights to travel between their workplaces and families. Philippine Airlines remains committed to supporting Filipino travelers during this period while ensuring that all flights operate under the highest safety standards,” stated the PAL advisory.
⁣⁣
PAL Cargo operations on these routes are also affected. The airline is working with logistics partners to explore alternative routing options where possible to support the continued movement of essential goods.⁣⁣
The time frame of these cancellations reflects PAL’s current operational planning horizon, and the airline will continue to review developments closely.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
PAL said it remained committed to restoring its Middle East services as soon as conditions allow, while continuing to connect passengers to the world with safe, reliable, and caring service.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
For updates and assistance, PAL urged passengers to visit www.philippineairlines.com or contact PAL’s Customer Service channels.
