President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the ceremonial turnover of approximately PhP 3.4 billion in development projects and public assistance during the official launch of the National Government–Bangsamoro Government Convergence Program at Camp Siongco, Awang.
Anchored on the theme “Mas Matatag na Bangsamoro Tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas,” the initiative establishes a unified, whole-of-government framework designed to bridge national and regional administration, streamline public service delivery, and accelerate socioeconomic development across the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
“This initiative demonstrates how stronger partnerships between the Bangsamoro Government and the National Government can create lasting, meaningful impact for the Bangsamoro people on their journey toward lasting peace and progress,” said the Bangsamoro Government Program Organizers.
The centerpiece of the convergence launch featured the ceremonial awarding of 23 high-impact projects through 15 Bangsamoro Ministries, Offices, and Agencies (BMOAs), directly benefiting 46 key recipient groups across the region.

Beyond financial turning-over ceremonies, the event gathered around 500 stakeholders—including ministers, local chief executives, development partners, and community beneficiaries—to witness the operationalization of direct frontline services.
Participating national and regional ministries, offices, and constitutional commissions operated full-day interactive service booths onsite. Citizens directly accessed program enrollments, technical advisory services, identity processing, and frontline assistance without administrative delays.
