J&T Express Philippines, a leading global logistics provider, has announced the deployment of its first electric vehicle (EV) fleet. In a strategic partnership with HOWO, the initiative marks a major leap in the company’s mission to integrate eco-friendly solutions into its nationwide delivery network.
The deployment centers on specialized EV light trucks designed to balance high-capacity logistics with environmental preservation. This move is a core component of J&T Express’ “Innovation in Every Delivery 2025” roadmap, which seeks to modernize the local logistics sector through cleaner, more responsible operations.
The new EV light trucks are engineered for the rigors of Philippine logistics while significantly reducing the company’s carbon footprint. Key technical highlights include:

Powerful Performance: Equipped with a 100 kWh battery, providing a range of up to 200 kilometers per charge.

Carbon Reduction: Each EV unit is projected to prevent approximately 43,000 kilograms of $CO_2$ emissions annually compared to traditional diesel-powered trucks.

Dedicated Infrastructure: To ensure seamless operations, J&T has implemented on-site charging stations to support the fleet’s daily rotation.
