Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) and Asian Infrastructure Holdings Corp. (AIHC) have broken ground on a built-to-suit logistics facility for FedEx at Clark International Airport, expanding the Gokongwei-led property developer’s footprint in one of the country’s busiest industrial and transport corridors.
The project will be undertaken through their joint venture, RL Clark Logistix, Inc. (RCLX), which is 85 percent owned by Robinsons Land and 15 percent by AIHC.
Planned on a nearly 15-hectare site, the development is expected to deliver close to 78,000 square meters of gross floor area, with completion targeted in the first quarter of 2028.
For Robinsons Land, the project adds scale to its logistics and industrial expansion through Robinsons Logistix and Industrials, Inc. (RLI), its logistics and industrial facilities arm. The development further strengthens the company’s presence in a corridor driven by cargo movement, aviation activity, and regional distribution links.
The facility also aligns with Robinsons Land’s broader strategy of expanding its investment property portfolio and diversifying recurring income streams. Through RCLX, the company is widening its industrial footprint while supporting long-term portfolio diversification and income stability.
“This partnership reflects Robinsons Land’s commitment to developing well-located, future-ready logistics facilities that support the growth requirements of world-class companies such as FedEx,” said Cora AngLey, Senior Vice President of Robinsons Land and General Manager of RLX. “Through RCLX, we are building in Clark with a long-term view of operational efficiency, network expansion, and the growing role of the Philippines in regional trade and logistics.”
The groundbreaking ceremony was held on May 19, 2026, at Clark International Airport. The project is being developed in coordination with the Base Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), Clark Development Corp. (CDC), and Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp. (LIPAD), the operator of Clark International Airport.
