Pres. Marcos Jr. solidifies healthcare expansion deal between ABC Impact and Ayala Group’s AC Health

As part of his ongoing efforts to bolster the Philippines’ healthcare infrastructure through high-impact foreign investments, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. met with key executives from ABC Impact and the Ayala Group, as well as representatives of the Temasek Trust ecosystem, during his working visit to Singapore.

The meeting focused on accelerating nationwide initiatives to provide quality, affordable healthcare to millions of Filipinos.

During the discussion, Singapore-based impact investment firm ABC Impact reaffirmed its commitment to the Philippine healthcare sector following its strategic investment in AC Health (Ayala Healthcare Holdings, Inc.), securing an approximate 16% minority stake in the company.

This landmark partnership between the Ayala Group and ABC Impact aims to democratize medical access across the Philippines. By combining AC Health’s robust domestic footprint with ABC Impact’s capital and dedication to social progress, the collaboration will accelerate the expansion of:

  • State-of-the-art hospitals and multi-specialty clinics to bring comprehensive care closer to communities.

  • Affordable retail pharmacies to lower the cost of essential medicines.

  • Integrated digital and physical healthcare services to bridge accessibility gaps in underserved regions.

“Promoting high-impact investments that directly benefit the everyday lives of Filipinos remains a cornerstone of this administration,” President Marcos Jr. noted, welcoming the joint commitment.

Beyond medical care, the nationwide expansion of AC Health’s operations is projected to create thousands of new healthcare and retail jobs for Filipinos.

The initiative marks a significant step forward in building a highly integrated, accessible, and resilient healthcare system capable of delivering superior health outcomes for every citizen.
