One Stop Logistics Solutions, Inc. (OLSI) and the University of Asia and the Pacific Foundation, Inc. (UA&P) have officially formalized a strategic partnership designed to bridge the gap between industry realities and academic excellence in supply chain and logistics.
The collaboration was sealed through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony held recently at the UA&P campus in Pasig City. The milestone event was led by OLSI General Manager Miguel Gutierrez and Systems Lead Ruth Macalalad, alongside UA&P Vice President for Academic and Faculty Affairs Dr. Fe Gladys Golo and Dean of the School of Sciences, Engineering, and Technology Dr. Noemi Torre. Key members of the OLSI team and the Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics (MSL) Human Resources team were also in attendance to show their cross-organizational support.
This agreement kicks off a structured, one-year collaborative study focused on joint research initiatives, knowledge sharing, student immersion programs, and active industry engagement. By opening these channels, UA&P students and faculty will gain invaluable, firsthand exposure to the fast-paced logistics sector, while OLSI will benefit from fresh, research-driven insights and academic perspectives to optimize modern supply chain challenges.
Upon the conclusion of the one-year study, UA&P will deliver comprehensive recommendations and a strategic roadmap to guide future long-term collaborative initiatives. Both OLSI and UA&P are dedicated to cultivating an ecosystem of continuous learning and innovation that brings lasting value to students, academic researchers, industry practitioners, and the broader logistics ecosystem.
