In a robust push for streamlined governance and public trust, the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), via its Compliance Monitoring and Evaluation Office (CMEO), recently hosted a General Orientation and Workshop on ARTA Compliance and the Philippine Quality Award (PQA). Held at the ARTA Central Office in Diliman, the one-day event brought together around 117 representatives from 39 government agencies nationwide.
The gathering targeted critical compliance measures under Republic Act No. 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act, equipping National Government Agencies (NGAs), Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs), State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), Local Water Districts (LWDs), and Local Government Units (LGUs) with practical guidance on the Citizen’s Charter and the Harmonized Client Satisfaction Measurement (HCSM).

The Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Framework: Conducted in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the session featured DTI Bureau of Competitive Development Supervising Trade-Industry Development Specialist Winnalyn Amaca as a resource speaker. She highlighted how the PQA framework fosters organizational excellence, streamlining, and superior public service.
