Cebu Pacific, Air France extend parts supply deal for Airbus fleet

Cebu Pacific and Air France have signed an agreement extending an earlier aircraft parts supply and maintenance deal for its news Airbus fleet.

The CEB-Air France agreement was among the six agreements signed on April 11, 2025 at the culmination of the two-day visit Mr. Laurent Saint-Martin, Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and French Nationals Abroad, to the Philippines from April 10-11, 2025.

The CEB-Air France deal also followed the reopening of the direct flights between Paris and Manila.

Alexander Lao, president and Chief Commercial Officer of Cebu Pacific Air, said that Air France has been supplying them with parts for their aircraft for the past eight years.

Lao did not mention if the extension deal is for another eight years. He also refused to divulge the value of the contract, but said that the parts supply is for its A320/A321 fleet from Air France’s office in Singapore.

“They’ve grown their operation in Singapore and that coincides with the growth of Cebu Pacific,” said Lao noting they are happy with their relationship with Air France.

In July 2024, Cebu Pacific placed the largest aircraft order in the Philippines’ history with 102 confirmed and 50 optional A320/A321 NEO aircraft, consolidating Airbus’ predominant position in the country.
