The Philippines’ reputation as a premier global destination for exceptional hospitality has been further elevated with the inclusion of five distinguished hotels in the MICHELIN Guide Hotels List.
The Department of Tourism (DOT) proudly announces that Fairmont Makati, Manila Marriott Hotel at Newport World Resorts, Solaire Resort Entertainment City, Raffles Makati, and Shangri-La The Fort, Manila, have joined the esteemed selection, bringing the country’s total recognized properties to eleven.
This significant recognition by the globally renowned MICHELIN Guide not only reinforces the Philippines’ standing as a top-tier destination offering world-class hotels and tourism experiences but also underscores the celebrated Filipino warmth and excellence in hospitality. These qualities are central to the nation’s tourism brand, championed by the Marcos administration.
These five newly recognized establishments join six other exceptional Philippine hotels that were first acknowledged by the MICHELIN Guide in 2024: Admiral Hotel Manila – MGallery, Amanpulo, Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan, Hotel Okura Manila, Nay Palad Hideaway, and The Peninsula Manila.
This exciting development follows the MICHELIN Guide’s earlier announcement this year of its upcoming arrival in the Philippines, with its inaugural edition anticipated in 2026. The inclusion of these eleven hotels in the MICHELIN Guide Hotels List serves as a powerful prelude to the full guide’s launch, highlighting the country’s commitment to providing unparalleled experiences for discerning travelers.
The DOT views this continued recognition as a testament to the dedication and high standards upheld by the Philippine hospitality industry. This achievement further motivates the country to continue enhancing its tourism offerings and showcasing the unique charm and exceptional service that Filipino establishments are known for worldwide.
