FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ leading provider of end-to-end logistics and distribution solutions, is expanding into agri-logistics as part of its broader mission to support Filipino farmers and drive inclusive economic growth through logistics innovation.
For its initial salvo in agri-logistics, FAST CEO for Logistics Manuel L. Onrejas Jr. said they partnered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Provincial Government of Guimaras for the purchase of premium Guimaras Mangoes directly from mango growers and producers.

The mangoes were then transported to Manila using a 2-tonner refrigerated truck — a historic milestone for the province, where produce is typically shipped using non-refrigerated vans.
Upon arrival in Manila, the mangoes were stored at the FAST ColdChain Hub Cavite, a state-of-the-art facility with 13,000 pallet positions and multi-temperature zones. Equipped with sophisticated monitoring systems and real-time data tracking, the hub ensured that the mangoes were kept at optimal conditions before being showcased at the International Food Exhibition (IFEX) Philippines held from May 22-24, 2025 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.
This marks the first time Guimaras mangoes were transported using a dedicated ColdChain vehicle, helping preserve their freshness and quality from farm to exhibition.
Visitors at IFEX Philippines were treated to the unmatched flavor of Guimaras Mangoes, which drew attention not only for their taste but also for their distinction as the country’s first and only fruit with Geographical Indication (GI) Registration. This certification means that Guimaras mangoes are officially recognized as coming from a specific region and having unique qualities tied to that origin.
Onrejas underscored the importance of end-to-end logistics in connecting farmers to markets, noting that FAST has the capability and technology to champion Filipino agricultural products both locally and globally.
“FAST is constantly exploring ways to provide end-to-end supply chain solutions for businesses of all sizes. Our commitment is to empower entrepreneurs with topnotch logistics solutions. We recognized an opportunity to support mango farmers and producers by leveraging our logistics expertise to bring their world-class produce to international platforms like IFEX Philippines,” he said.
He added that FAST’s entry into agri-logistics is aimed at solving persistent challenges in the agriculture value chain such as spoilage, lack of market access, and inefficient transport systems — by providing integrated and intelligent ColdChain solutions.
“As we have proved in this trade fair, logistics is key to better market premium produce like Guimaras mangoes,” Onrejas said.
The initiative is part of a broader strategy by FAST to drive national impact through food logistics innovation. By helping local producers gain better access to larger and more competitive markets, FAST aims to uplift farming communities and make high-value crops more affordable and accessible for all.
FAST VP for Strategic Growth Initiatives Gladys S. Ceniza emphasized the company’s drive to innovate and contribute to nation-building through reliable end-to-end logistics.
She affirmed FAST’s dedication to supporting more public-private partnerships in the agri sector and beyond by aligning its innovation roadmap with the country’s development priorities.
“We see agri-logistics as a powerful platform for inclusive growth,” she said.
“We are working hand in hand with government agencies such as DTI, as well as local governments, to build smarter, more resilient food supply chains across the country,” she added.
