Bureau of Customs (BOC) Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno today led the inspection of a consolidated shipment at the Manila International Container Port (MICP) found to contain illegal drugs, underscoring the Bureau’s unwavering commitment to rigorous enforcement and border security.
The inspection, personally overseen by Commissioner Nepomuceno, highlights the BOC’s intensified efforts to combat the smuggling of prohibited substances into the country. The consolidated shipment was intercepted as part of ongoing intelligence-driven operations aimed at detecting and preventing illicit trade.
