The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) announced today that cloudy skies and strong waves continue to impact port operations across various regions as a result of Tropical Depression #CrisingPH. As of July 18, 2025, some trips remain cancelled or suspended in selected ports to ensure the safety of travelers and port personnel.
Affected ports fall under the jurisdiction of the following Port Management Offices (PMOs):
- PMO NCR-South
- PMO Bicol
- PMO Masbate
- PMO Negros Occidental – Bacolod, Banago, and Bredco
- PMO Negros Oriental/Siquijor
- PMO Western Leyte/Biliran
- PMO Eastern Leyte/Samar
- PMO Palawan
- PMO Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro
- PMO Panay/Guimaras
- PMO Bohol
- PMO Surigao
- PMO Zamboanga del Norte
- PMO Zamboanga
PPA staff across all affected regions are maintaining vigilant oversight, prioritizing traveler safety, and providing essential support to the impacted ports.
The PPA is actively coordinating with local government units, shipping lines, and other relevant agencies. This collaborative effort aims to continuously monitor the situation and facilitate the immediate restoration of normal port operations as soon as weather conditions permit.
