AirAsia, named the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline for 16 consecutive years, is expanding its international network with the launch of new flights to Istanbul, Turkey. This new route will provide Filipinos with greater access to global destinations through a seamless connection via Kuala Lumpur.

Beginning November 14, 2025, travelers can experience Istanbul with AirAsia’s renowned Fly-Thru service and low fares. The new Manila–Kuala Lumpur–Istanbul route will operate four times weekly, offering more flexibility and convenience for trip planning.

Istanbul, a city where Europe and Asia meet, is an ideal destination for those interested in culture and history. The city is home to iconic landmarks such as the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the ancient walls of Constantinople.

“AirAsia remains committed to our mission of connecting ASEAN with the world,” said Suresh Bangah, President and CEO of AirAsia Philippines. “The launch of our new route to Istanbul highlights our dedication to making world-class destinations more accessible for Filipinos. This new connection will also help us welcome more international visitors to the Philippines, allowing them to explore the best our country has to offer through AirAsia’s extensive network.”
