China will be observing a combined, eight-day nationwide holiday from October 1 through October 8, 2025, integrating the significant National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations. Regular business activities and work schedules across the country are expected to resume on October 9, 2025.
During this extended public break, Ernest Logistics Corp. anticipates that operations and communications involving China-based entities may be affected:
Shipping Delays: Shipments that have not been finalized or fully booked before the holiday period—specifically those under EXW (Ex Works), FOB (Free On Board), and CIF Manila (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) terms—may experience slight delays. Clients are encouraged to check the status of their unbooked freight.
Slower Response Times: Responses from China-based offices, factories, and suppliers will likely be slower than usual as many personnel will be on leave. This includes delays in processing new orders, confirming shipment details, and responding to inquiries.
