Central Luzon soars in Japan: CRK roadshow strengthens ties and showcases premier gateway potential

Clark International Airport (CRK) announced the successful conclusion of the Central Luzon Roadshow in Japan 2025, held recently at the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo. The high-impact initiative marked a significant step in elevating Central Luzon’s profile, showcasing its diverse tourism offerings, vibrant culture, and compelling investment potential to the vital Japanese market.

The roadshow served as a powerful platform to deepen bilateral ties and bolster the region’s presence in Northeast Asia.

Strategic Engagement: The event featured informative presentations by local authorities and dynamic B2B (Business-to-Business) sessions with a robust delegation of over 30 Japan-based travel agencies, media representatives, and key influencers.

Diplomatic and Public Outreach: Activities included a significant courtesy meeting at the Philippine Embassy and a highly visible activation booth at the Philippine Festival Tokyo, maximizing exposure to both industry professionals and the general public.

Distinguished Support: The success of the roadshow was graciously highlighted by the presence and support of H.E. Mylene J. Garcia-Albano, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines in Tokyo, and Director Niel P. Ballesteros, Tourism Attaché of the Philippine Department of Tourism (PDOT) Tokyo.

This milestone achievement was made possible through a powerful convergence of public and private sector partners, underscoring a united effort to promote the region:

Government Partners: Philippine Department of Tourism-Tokyo, DOT Region III, Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), and the Angeles City Tourism Office.

Airline Partner: Cebu Pacific Group, which operates essential daily Clark–Narita flights, reinforcing CRK’s role as an international gateway.
