Rockwell Land Corporation has acquired a majority controlling interest in Alabang Town Center, a premier 17.5-hectare mixed-use development located in Muntinlupa City. The move marks a definitive expansion of Rockwell’s commercial footprint and signals a new chapter for one of Southern Metro Manila’s most iconic landmarks.
The acquisition follows an invitation from the property’s long-standing stakeholders to reimagine the estate’s future.
“Earlier this year, Mr. Francisco ‘Jun’ M. Bayot invited us to consider redeveloping Alabang Town Center,” said Nestor Padilla, Chairman and CEO of Rockwell Land. “It presented a compelling opportunity for Rockwell Land to further expand our presence in the south of Metro Manila, particularly given the scale and long-term potential of the property.”
Rockwell Land, the developer behind the prestigious Rockwell Center Makati and Power Plant Mall, plans to apply its signature “curated lifestyle” approach to the Alabang property. Known for integrating experiential retail with high-end residential and office spaces, the company’s immediate priority is a seamless transition for current stakeholders.
