Clark International Airport (CRK) marked a significant milestone in its journey toward becoming a premier global logistics hub with the successful arrival of XiamenAir’s inaugural trial cargo flights on January 13 and 15, 2026.
These flights represent XiamenAir’s first official operations at CRK, signaling a strengthening of trade ties between the Philippines and China. The successful trials utilized XiamenAir’s specialized freighter fleet, demonstrating the airport’s capability to handle high-volume, time-sensitive cargo with efficiency and precision.
The entry of XiamenAir into the Clark market is a strategic win for Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp. (LIPAD), the operator of CRK. This partnership aligns with LIPAD’s long-term vision to position Clark as a critical nexus for cross-border e-commerce and industrial logistics.
“We are thrilled to welcome XiamenAir to Clark International Airport,” said a spokesperson for LIPAD. “This successful trial not only proves our operational readiness for expanded freighter services but also reaffirms CRK’s role as a vital gateway for international trade. By providing a seamless alternative to congested regional hubs, we are helping businesses move goods faster and more reliably across borders.”
