South Korea’s FIN to conduct technologies studies for Clark’s cold chain bonded logistics depot, pharma hub

South Korea-based Future iNet Co., Ltd. (FIN) will conduct technological studies on Cold Chain Bonded Logistics Depot system for the Clark National Food Hub, a critical infrastructure project designed to modernize the country’s food logistics network, and for the Clark Pharma Hub.

This developed following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between CIAC President & CEO Jojit Alcazar signed the MOU with Future i-Net Co., Ltd. (FIN) President and CEO Lee Jin Hwa on Tuesday, 24 February 2026, at the Clark Aviation Capital Picnic Grounds.

FIN, an IT company, will conduct a feasibility study for the development of a Cold Chain Bonded Logistics Depot Project within the Clark Civil Aviation Complex and the Clark Pharma Hub.

Alcazar noted that efficient cold chain systems are essential to reducing food spoilage, stabilizing supply, and maintaining quality from source to market.

With improved temperature control, customs supervision systems, cost-efficiency measures, and strategic inventory management, the project aims to make food distribution more reliable and affordable.

For farmers, this could mean reduced post-harvest losses and better market access.

For businesses, improved logistics translates to competitiveness.

For consumers, it supports stable supply and safer food products.

Ultimately, a strengthened cold chain infrastructure contributes to national food security and economic resilience.
