As global and regional markets face an increasingly volatile economic landscape, the Procurement and Supply Institute of Asia (PASIA) is stepping back onto the frontlines.
Charlie Villaseñor, Chairman and CEO of PASIA, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to safeguarding the supply chain integrity of its 538 partner organizations across the region.
The announcement comes as PASIA prepares to host its highly anticipated Logistics Summit 2026, scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, March 18th–19th.
With the regional economy at a critical juncture, Villaseñor emphasized that PASIA’s role has shifted from advisory to essential intervention.
“We are being pulled by the region and our country to take real, decisive steps,” said Villaseñor. “Our mission is to create a tangible impact on the companies we serve. It is no longer enough to manage supply chains; we must fortify them against disruptions that many leadership teams don’t even see coming.”
The upcoming Summit has reached maximum capacity, reflecting an urgent demand for expertise in a post-uncertainty world. The event will serve as a war room for industry leaders, where the PASIA team will present:
-
Critical Assessments: A raw, unfiltered look at the current state of regional trade and movement.
-
Invisible Threats: Exposure of “hidden” dangers in the supply chain that are currently being overlooked by standard risk management protocols.
-
Actionable Best Practices: Proven strategies to mitigate impact and ensure business continuity.
Villaseñor warned that a lack of awareness is the greatest threat to national and regional stability. “There are very real dangers we are not preparing for,” he noted. “Our goal is for this event to provide the country and the region with the shield it needs. At PASIA, we don’t just observe—we dare to lead.”
The Logistics Summit 2026 promises to be a landmark event, equipping the 538 collaborating organizations with the tools to navigate a complex year ahead.
