MPTC expands toll rebate program to more Luzon tollways

The Manuel V. Pangilinan-led Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), together with its joint-venture partners, the Bases Conversion Authority (BCDA) for Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) and the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) for Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX), agreed to extend the KaBiyahe Rebate Program to the two expressways.

The extension supports the government’s call to provide temporary financial relief to the transportation sector. It aims to stabilize transportation cost for essential goods, support commerce, and economic activity amid rising fuel costs. MPTC earlier announced the rebate program for the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX).

As part of this initiative, MPTC will implement the KaBiyahe Rebate Program for qualified Class 2 Public Utility Buses (PUBs), and modernized jeepneys, as well as Class 3 vehicles for two months from March 23 to May 22, 2026 for all passages along NLEX, SCTEX, and CAVITEX (R1 Expressway and R1-Expressway Extension).

The rebates that will be credited effectively roll back toll rates to their levels prior to the most recent adjustment.

For Class 3 vehicles, they must be a valid Easytrip subscriber in good standing with sufficient load, and not enrolled in any other toll rebate or discount programs on MPTC expressways, such as the Toll Exemption for Agricultural Trucks.

For Public Utility Buses (PUBs) and modernized jeepney, they  must enroll in the KaBiyahe program and must be accredited operators registered with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

They must also be an Easytrip pre-paid account subscriber in good standing with sufficient load and Not be enrolled in any other toll discount programs on MPTC toll roads.
