Following the initial advisory issued on March 15, 2026, OceanJet announced a temporary adjustment to its fuel surcharge across several additional routes. This measure is a direct response to the sustained daily increase in global and local fuel prices.
Effective March 23, 2026, the updated fare structure will be implemented to ensure the continued delivery of safe and reliable sea travel amidst rising operational costs.
The following rates apply to round-trip (v.v.) voyages for both Tourist/Open-Air and Business Class accommodations:
| Route | Tourist / Open Air | Business Class |
| Cebu – Tagbilaran | PHP 960 | PHP 1,400 |
| Tagbilaran – Siquijor | PHP 960 | PHP 1,400 |
| Tagbilaran – Dumaguete | PHP 1,080 | PHP 1,680 |
| Dumaguete – Siquijor | PHP 420 | PHP 700 |
| Iloilo – Bacolod | PHP 650 | PHP 900 |
OceanJet acknowledges the impact these adjustments may have on the traveling public. We wish to emphasize that these surcharges are temporary contingency measures.
“Our priority remains the safety and efficiency of our service,” the company stated. “We are committed to lifting these adjustments as soon as fuel prices stabilize. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank our passengers for their continued patience and support during these fluctuating market conditions.”
