Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced a series of temporary flight suspensions and schedule adjustments across its international and domestic networks. These changes come in response to evolving conditions currently affecting the global aviation industry.
The airline is actively working to minimize disruptions and maintains that it will continue to review these routes for potential reinstatement as global conditions improve.
The following suspensions will take effect on the dates indicated and will remain in place until further notice:
International Routes
-
Cebu – Guam (PR120/121): Effective April 16.
-
Cebu – Ho Chi Minh City (PR587/588): Effective April 19.
-

“We understand that these adjustments may impact the travel plans of our valued passengers, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience,” PAL stated in its official advisory.
To support those affected, Philippine Airlines is offering three flexible recovery options:
-
Rebooking: Passengers may move to an alternative route within the same cabin class (subject to availability) within 60 days of the original flight date, with all rebooking penalties waived.
-
Travel Credits: The full value of the ticket can be converted into travel credits for future use.
-
Refunds: Passengers are eligible for a full refund in accordance with the airline’s standard policies.
Affected travelers are encouraged to manage their bookings via the PAL website, contact centers, or by visiting a local ticket office.
PAL confirms that cargo shipments on the aforementioned routes will also be impacted. The airline is currently collaborating with logistics partners to identify alternative routing options, ensuring that the movement of essential goods and commerce continues with minimal delay.
