All parties underscored a mutual dedication to ensuring that Filipino professionals and workers in the Emirates continue to operate in safe, fair, and humane environments.
“The UAE remains a vital partner in our mission to protect our modern-day heroes,” stated Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac. “We deeply appreciate the UAE government’s proactive stance in implementing labor reforms that recognize the dignity and contribution of our workforce.”
Key Highlights of the Partnership:

Enhanced Labor Protections: Continued collaboration on monitoring and enforcing fair employment practices.
-
Mutual Recognition: Acknowledgment of the UAE as a leading destination for safe and transparent labor migration.
-
Strategic Dialogue: Strengthening the mechanisms for grievance redressal and worker support services.
Both nations expressed high expectations for the upcoming Abu Dhabi Dialogue (ADD). This regional forum will serve as a critical platform for the Philippines and the UAE to spearhead broader cooperation on labor migration across the corridor.
