The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) is now implementing the Phase 2 of PEZA One Portal System (PTOPS), a centralized fully digitalized platform to enhance logistics efficiency at the economic zones, with the mandatory use of the system.
PEZA Deputy Director General for Operations Vivian S. Santos told the members of the Association of SEIPI Logistics Managers (ASLM) at their recent 2026 Q2 General Membership Meeting.
ASLM is a networking committee under the Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines, Inc. (SEIPI), composed of logistics and supply chain professionals from member companies in the electronics and semiconductor sector.
DDG Santos emphasized that the PTOPS is a major system being implemented by PEZA to streamline, harmonize, and fully digitalize processes and transactions. The centralized platform is now in Phase 2 of implementation, with the mandatory use of the system for import permitting and export documentation already in place, while the inclusion of the electronic Zone Transfer System (e-ZTS) is currently underway.
She also highlighted PEZA’s partnership with the Bureau of Customs (BOC) to further address bottlenecks, noting the release of CMO No. 04-2026 which formalizes the exemption of application of electronic customs seal (ECS) to Authorized Economic Operators (AEOs) with Level 1 benefit.
