AirAsia combats rising travel costs with low fares, free in-flight meals, and zero change fees

To help Filipino travelers manage rising expenses and fulfill their international travel goals, AirAsia Philippines has launched a series of exclusive booking perks this month.

The World’s Best Low-Cost Airline is offering unbeatable base fares, complimentary inflight hot meals, and ultimate booking flexibility for those planning getaways through early 2027.

Passengers can now book flights from Manila and Cebu to iconic international destinations for as low as PHP 739 one-way base fare (exclusive of fees and surcharges).

Available for booking from now until May 31, with an extended travel window valid until March 27, 2027, travelers can explore Asia’s most popular landmarks, including:

  • Kuala Lumpur: Marvel at the architectural wonder of the Petronas Twin Towers.

  • Hanoi & Da Nang: Immerse in the historic Old Quarter or walk the famous Golden Bridge.

  • Bangkok: Experience the grandeur of the Grand Palace and vibrant night markets.

  • Kaohsiung: Stroll along the scenic Love River and indulge in Taiwanese street food.

In addition to low fares, AirAsia is serving up an exclusive treat for early bird bookers. Guests who book selected international flights between May 18 and May 24 will receive a FREE Uncle Chin’s Chicken Rice meal for travel dates between May 18 and August 31, 2026. This offer is available via the ‘Add-ons’ section on a first-come, first-served basis.

Understanding that plans can change, AirAsia Philippines is offering a one-time zero change fee, allowing guests to reschedule their flights without facing heavy penalties.

To ensure a seamless rebooking experience, AirAsia will also automatically carry over selected add-ons—such as sports equipment and other eligible services—to the new flight itinerary whenever possible.

  • Add-On Availability: Standard products like Fast Pass, Santan meals, and Xtra Carry-On are subject to availability and will be removed if unavailable on the newly selected flight.

  • Booking Split Rule: The one-time flight change applies to the entire booking (PNR). If only specific travelers in a group wish to alter their dates, the booking must be split before making the change.

AirAsia remains committed to delivering accessible, value-driven travel experiences, pairing affordable fares with the flexible options Filipinos need to explore the world confidently this year.
