Enhancing operational resilience and crew welfare at sea, technical specialists recently completed a comprehensive IT infrastructure upgrade aboard the container vessel Brisbane Express.
The initiative focuses on bolstering the vessel’s communication systems to ensure seamless, high-speed connectivity for both navigational requirements and ship-to-shore operations.
Leading the technical execution, Senior Fleet IT Specialist Mikhail Joseph Salviejo was stationed onboard to oversee the commissioning of advanced IT hardware. This upgrade is designed to optimize data transmission and support the vessel’s digital ecosystem, providing the crew with more reliable links to global networks—a critical component in modern maritime logistics and operational efficiency.
