Philippine Airlines deploys Airbus A350-1000 on Manila–Toronto Service

Philippine Airlines (PAL) will deploy its second Airbus A350-1000 on the Manila (MNL) – Toronto (YYZ) route beginning 5 June 2026, expanding the presence of its newest flagship aircraft in North America.

PAL’s Manila–Toronto service will operate with the Airbus A350-1000 according to the following schedule:

Flight Route Days Departure Arrival
PR 118 Manila – Toronto Wednesday, Friday, Sunday 7:30 PM 10:45 PM
PR 119 Toronto – Manila Monday, Thursday, Saturday 1:50 AM 6:05 AM (+1 day)

The deployment follows the arrival of PAL’s second A350-1000 and represents another major milestone in the airline’s fleet modernization program. The aircraft will operate alongside PAL’s first Airbus A350-1000, which currently serves the airline’s Manila–New York (JFK) route.

With Toronto joining New York as an A350-1000 destination, Philippine Airlines continues to enhance its long-haul product, offering passengers a superior travel experience aboard the airline’s most advanced aircraft. PAL’s A350-1000 features 42 Business Class seats, 24 Premium Economy seats and 316 Economy Class seats, providing travelers across all cabins with improved comfort and onboard amenities.

The Airbus A350-1000 is the newest and largest aircraft in PAL’s fleet and forms part of the airline’s order for nine aircraft of the type. Philippine Airlines remains the first and only airline in Southeast Asia to operate the Airbus A350-1000.

Designed for long-range operations, the A350-1000 delivers significant improvements in passenger experience, fuel efficiency and operational performance.

This also strengthens PAL’s cargo capabilities, enabling shipments to and from North America to connect efficiently to the airline’s broader cargo network.
