Following a three-month toll-free preview period, the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has officially authorized the commencement of toll collection for the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) Subsection 3, spanning from Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange to Governor’s Drive in General Trias, Cavite, effective August 9, 2026.
Since opening to the public on May 4, 2026, the 7.88-kilometer segment has served nearly 9,000 motorists daily free of charge. The modern highway has provided a faster, more efficient route for residents, workers, students, and commercial transport, bypassing heavily congested local roads across Cavite’s rapidly expanding industrial and residential corridors.
Starting August 9, 2026, the approved toll rates for vehicles traveling on Subsection 3 (Silang Aguinaldo to Governor’s Drive) are as follows:

Class 1 (Cars, SUVs, Vans): ₱35.00

Class 2 (Buses, Light Trucks): ₱70.00

Class 3 (Heavy Trucks, Trailers): ₱106.00
For motorists traveling directly from Governor’s Drive in General Trias, Cavite to Greenfield (Mamplasan) in Laguna, the end-to-end toll rates are as follows:

With Subsection 3 fully integrated, CALAX currently operates a total length of 26 kilometers, beginning at the Greenfield-Mamplasan Entry in Biñan, Laguna.
Once the entire CALAX network is completed, the expressway is projected to cater to up to 65,000 vehicles per day. The infrastructure project remains a crucial driver of economic development in Southern Luzon—significantly reducing travel times, easing traffic congestion along major thoroughfares, and streamlining the movement of people, goods, and services across Cavite, Laguna, and Metro Manila.
Motorists are encouraged to ensure their Easytrip RFID accounts are sufficiently loaded prior to travel for seamless passage through the toll plazas.
