Ninja Van Philippines shifts to operational intelligence than simply delivering parcels
As logistics cost in the country remains at an elevated level, Ninja Van Philippines has deployed an AI-powered technology to provide businesses operational intelligence from data gathered by its network of thousands of riders to ensure visibility of their products, real time inventory, timely response to issues, and better decisions, rather than simply delivering parcels to consumers.
Vin Perez, country head of Ninja Van Philippines, said that building on the company’s nationwide logistics network they have expanded its technology ecosystem with Ninja FieldSight. This AI-powered retail intelligence platform transforms existing delivery infrastructure into a real-time source of market insights.
“Operational excellence starts with visibility,” said Perez. “Businesses need confidence that inventory is available, products are on shelves, promotions are executed correctly, and issues can be identified before they affect customers. That’s where operational intelligence creates value.”
Danielle Hung, head of business development at Ninja Van Philippines, explained that through its network of daily riders, Ninja FieldSight enables businesses to verify product availability, monitor shelf execution, capture geotagged photo validation, and track competitor activity during existing delivery routes. AI supports riders by validating submissions and transforming field observations into a unified dashboard, eliminating much of the manual processing traditionally associated with retail audits.
“Ninja FieldSight gives brands detailed on-ground visibility in real time,” Hung added. “It helps identify availability gaps immediately and turns that information into actionable insights that improve operations, make businesses more efficient, and ultimately help brands build to last.”
According to Hung, the solution was born from firsthand experience. Before joining the logistics industry, she worked with FMCG brands and saw the challenges of ensuring products remained visible and available across the country’s retail landscape.
“One thing has always remained true, whether I was working in sales or supply chain—we were obsessed with making sure our products were accessible to consumers every day,” Hung said. “To do that, brands relied on retail audits, but the data often arrived months later, when it was already too late to act.”

Recognizing this gap, Ninja Van leveraged the infrastructure it had already built across the country to reimagine the retail audit process. “We’re not asking brands to invest in a new network,” Hung explained. “We’re utilizing the same nationwide delivery infrastructure, paired with AI and real-time technology, to give businesses immediate visibility into what’s happening in stores. Instead of waiting months for reports, brands get actionable insights they can use right away.”
Ninja Van aims to support this evolution by integrating its logistics infrastructure with AI solutions like Ninja FieldSight. This approach provides businesses with real-time visibility and enables faster, informed decision-making.
“As commerce becomes more complex, logistics must evolve beyond parcel movement,” said Perez. “We strive to be a long-term partner, helping businesses operate intelligently. With clearer insights, companies can respond quickly, improve customer service, and build resilient operations for the future.”
