dnata, a leading global air and travel services provider, has announced the launch of its newly evolved Cargo Integrated Command Centre (CICC) at Dubai International Airport (DXB).
By bringing together advanced technology, comprehensive operational data, and enhanced decision-making capabilities in a single environment, the CICC is set to significantly strengthen the performance and resilience of dnata’s cargo operations across the United Arab Emirates.
The state-of-the-art command centre provides teams with a centralized, bird’s-eye view of cargo operations across both DXB and Dubai World Central-Al Maktoum International (DWC). This unified approach enables teams to proactively anticipate operational requirements, seamlessly coordinate resources, and respond with agility to dynamic market and operational conditions.
The CICC oversees a vast and complex operation. During the 2025–26 financial year alone, dnata’s facilities handled more than one million tonnes of cargo, 189,000 flight movements, and 46,000 truck movements. The new facility delivers unparalleled visibility across this expansive network, fostering tighter coordination between teams, facilities, and ground activities at both Dubai airports.
This technological leap arrives as Dubai continues to cement its status as a premier global cargo and logistics capital. Global air cargo demand soared to record levels in 2025—registering a 3.4% year-on-year increase, according to the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Furthermore, significant ongoing investments in the future expansion of DWC are creating vital new capacity to support the emirate’s long-term aviation and logistics vision.
At the core of the CICC is dnata’s proprietary operational dashboard. Consolidating critical data and refreshing every 10 seconds, the dashboard grants teams a near real-time view of ongoing operations.
The centre integrates several core platforms:

One Cargo: dnata’s comprehensive cargo management system reflecting live operational activities and transactions.

Appointment and Dock Management (ADM) System: Providing real-time visibility into truck movements across both airports.

Calogi: dnata’s cargo community platform, empowering teams to oversee landside activities and ancillary services, including last-mile delivery.
Together, these integrated systems allow the CICC team to continuously monitor network activity, pinpoint potential bottlenecks ahead of time, and orchestrate rapid, collaborative responses.

The launch of the CICC builds upon dnata’s continuous strategy of investing in cutting-edge technology and digitalisation across its Dubai cargo operations. Recent milestones include the deployment of autonomous drones for warehouse inventory processes—achieving over 99% accuracy in shipment tracking—and the establishment of a centralized cargo screening control room in partnership with Dubai Police, allowing six X-ray screening machines at DXB to be remotely operated and monitored from a single location.
Designed with future scalability in mind, the CICC provides a future-proof model capable of evolving alongside dnata’s expanding operations to support increasing capacity and operational complexity across the UAE.
