Maersk enhances export service in Cagayan De Oro with updated laden pre-advise process

In line with Maersk’s continued commitment to service excellence and enhanced customer experience, it has updated its Cagayan De Oro Exports Laden Pre-Advise process. This refreshed procedure aims to streamline container handling, ensure smoother operations at the terminal, and minimize delays.

New Guidelines for Pre-Advising Export Containers

Customers exporting containers from Cagayan De Oro are now required to:

Accurately Complete Pre-Advise Forms

All fields in Section I of the Pre-Advise Form must be fully completed. For special containers (Reefer, Dangerous Goods [DG], or Out of Gauge [OOG]), additional details are required in Section II.

Pre-Advise Form Samples:

International and Intra-Asia

Domestic

Submit via Email Before Gate-In

Completed forms must be sent to Phiexportpreadvise@maersk.com before the containers are gated in.

Use the following subject line format for smooth processing:

For International Shipments: IAS (Operator) PRE-ADVISE: VESSEL & VOYAGE NO.

Example: IAS (MSK) PRE-ADVISE: NORDTIGER 215S-215N

Maersk’s pre-advise team will respond within two hours. If there are any discrepancies, you will be contacted for clarification.

Follow Pre-Advise Acceptance Schedule

Monday to Saturday: 0800H – 1630H

Sunday: 0900H – 1630H

Proceed to Gate-In Upon Confirmation

Once you receive confirmation, you may gate-in the container and settle port charges accordingly.

For Amendments

Any changes to previously submitted Pre-Advise details must be sent via a new email with the following subject format:

IAS (Operator) AMENDMENT: VESSEL & VOYAGE NO

Include container number and exact amendment details.

Example:

Container No: MSKU1234567

Amendment: Change of booking number

From: 12345678 To: 87654321

Amendments may incur administrative fees and could delay gate-in processing.

Commitment to Customer-Centric Solutions

This process enhancement is a reflection of Maersk’s continuous efforts to deliver more efficient, accurate, and responsive logistics solutions for our customers in the Philippines. By working together and adhering to these updated procedures, we can ensure a smoother export experience and reduced turnaround times.
